Hi my name is Sarah.

My dad (Robert Spinks) loved boats and sailing on the Norfolk broads and at sea, he spent many months blood sweat and tears restoring his pride and joy the Alcyone.
Due to a series of strokes and dementia he could no longer sail, and unfortunately had to make the heartbreaking decision to sell his boat, A seaking wooden sailing boat.
As you can imagine this broke his heart.
Unfortunately on October 1st 2017 my father passed away.
I've made it my mission to find my fathers boat and after 3yrs of searching I've finally found Alcyone.

Unfortunately Alcyone is in what we call a boat grave yard.
She is in a bad state and needs a lot of work.
I would love to see her restored and sailing again, and for my mum to see Alcyone in her glory.

The first stage would be getting her back home where she belongs.
And to do this I'd need her transported from the boat yard 1 1/2 hours away.

Once she is home she will be stored at a friend's place.

I am aware of how much Alcyone will cost to be fully restored.
