Mayday Self Help Groups is a mental health support group based in Clacton On Sea, Essex. We meet every Thursday afternoon 1:30pm - 4:00pm at The Brotherhood Community Hall, 28 St. Osyth Road, Clacton On Sea, CO15 3BW. Everybody has the opportunity to share any aspect of their life and thoughts during the group "round" but nobody is in anyway obliged to do so and may just enjoy the company and change of scene. There is no time limit on attendance, neither minimum or maximum, regular or just in crisis, members are free to set their own timetable. We see mental health as on a sliding scale between good mental health and poor mental health. Issues such as loneliness and isolation could become poor mental health if not addressed and those with enduring mental health issues may find socialising difficult. Therefore we welcome any respectful person, regardless of diagnosis or none who thinks they might like to join us to come and see.
