The NODA award-winning Saffron Walden Musical Theatre Company is looking for new members for their forthcoming production of 9 to 5, a musical comedy with music and lyrics by the inimitable Dolly Parton. This hilarious story of friendship and revenge centres upon three women who concoct a plan to get even with their bigoted boss. With fantastic songs for both principals and ensemble, it promises to be another fantastic show!

Performances will be at the Town Hall from Tuesday 5th - Saturday 9th March 2019. Rehearsals take place on Wednesday evenings, from 8-10pm, with extra rehearsals taking place on Monday evenings for principals and on Sundays closer to show week. The company welcomes people of all ages (over 18), experiences and abilities. Tenor and Bass singers are particularly welcomed. With plenty of social events and opportunities to help raise vital funds throughout the year, it is a real community of like-minded theatre-lovers.

Anybody wishing to join the company as a performer should attend an informal sing-through on Wednesday 3rd October at the Baptist Church Hall (upstairs) at 8.15pm. Those still interested will then be asked to complete a New Member audition the following week, Wednesday 10th October 2018. Auditions for principal roles will be later in October.
