Hi, my name is John and I am a keen singer.
I am just looking for something fairly casual initially, but with a view to playing around the local pubs and small festivals and events etc eventually.
Singing is in my heart and I have quite a broad taste in music, I am in my 40's now so I grew up in the Britpop era so love all that stuff like Oasis, Blur, Ocean Colour Scene, Kaiser Chiefs etc. But I also love the Foo Fighters and Red Hot Chilli Peppers and all that stuff too, plus I like all the older rocky stuff like the Rolling Stones and The Beatles aswell.
I can adapt though and haven't included loads of what I like, I can do most of the well known popular stuff.
I have sung in a couple of bands before but they were pretty much "one-off" gigs rather than anything regular, ideally I would love to just get together with a local-ish band and do some jamming etc with a view to doing some small gigs eventually.
I have a couple of MP3's that I got recorded by someone I know should you require an example of what my voice is like, and I welcome anyone looking for something like what I can offer.
I have no ego so perfectly happy to have a jam with no expectations, just want to do what I love and enjoy myself. Lockdown taught me that life is too short and if I don't do it soon I'll never do it, hope to speak to you soon.
