We are creating a team of volunteers to work in the Sevenoaks Downlands area, helping our Warden team to manage our Reserves. you'll be carrying out a large variety of tasks, learning forestry skills and reserve management at our sites at Fackenden Down, Polhill Bank and Kemsing Down.
Our teams meet on a Wednesday and Thursday, either meeting at the Reserve on which you will be working or at our Sevenoaks Wildlife Reserve and our task days start at around 9.30am and finish by 3.30pm, it's absolutely fine to join us just for the morning session. You can see the details of our current task days on our website.
We're out and about whatever the weather, so you'll need to be dressed appropriately and it's essential that you contact the Warden prior to attending the task day (we can make sure there's enough tools as well as tea for you!). Volunteers need to be 16 years old or over to join our teams
