Rare Vintage Czechoslovakian SMER Miniature Toadstool/Mushroom Money Box with lock and key.
Super cute little vintage money box/coin saver/piggy bank, shaped like a mushroom house.
Made in Czechoslovakia, the sticker that was on the bottom has been removed but I have added a photo of what it looked like.
I believe it's circa 1950s 1960s.
If you of a certain age it will bring back childhood memories.
It has a window around the back, a little chimney on the roof, and a slit in the roof for coins. The door opens and comes off, inside the door, it is stamped SMER.
Sweet little heart-shaped metal padlock & key
Not sure exactly what it is made of Acrylic/Plastic/Bakelite
Approx:
4" (10cm) tall
3.5" (9cm) widest diameter
SMER is the manufacturer, other names (the Czech Republic, some molds from Heller and Artiplast/Aurora)
