A lovely ceramic jug/vase by Poet Laval Pottery. Le Poet Laval is a commune in France where this pottery is made. The jug/vase is white with a yellow sunflower and greenery on each side which is in relief. This particular jug dates back to the mid 90's and was purchased in Chester. Its measurements are approx: total height 7" (18cm), bottom diameter 3.1/2" (8.5cm) x 4" (10cm), top diameter from the edge of the lip to the opposite edge 5" (12.5cm), top diameter across the narrower edges 3.1/2" (9cm) & total width at its widest including the handle and the lip 7.1/2" (19cm). It weighs 0.748kg. The jug is in very good condition with no chips, cracks or stains. It has only ever been used as decoration. The bottom of the inside has 3 small manufacturing bubbles beneath the glaze. Despite much effort I have not been able to produce good photos of the inside. They come out dark and shaded and I think it must be because of the shape. It is clean and white inside. It is dishwasher safe and it has been washed for sale. This is a lovely, unusual jug with its own charm and I would like to see it re-home as I no longer have space to show it off. Postable/collectable. I will combine with other items that I am selling.
