LARGE 20ft x 10ft cabin project.

Has only been up for around 5 months.

Shed outer disassembles into 5ft x 6ft pre-made panels.

Can reposition doors and windows anywhere to suit your requirements.

Front (double) and side (single) doorways (panels are modular and can be moved to different positions)
3 window apertures (can also all be moved)

Based around the "Adley 10' x 20' Premium Double Door Shiplap Modular Apex Workshop" which can be seen here:
https://www.sheds.co.uk/adley-10-x-20-premium-double-door-shiplap-modular-apex-workshop.html

Original flooring discarded in favour of a very substantial hand-built subfloor designed to hold huge amounts of weight, 2x4s every 2ft, rear corner is further strengthened as was intended for a full size bath (bath also available). 13mm OSB floor panels are screwed not nailed so will come up easily and go back down with no flexing or bowing.

Stood on a very sturdy handmade platform which is made of 2x4s with beams every 2ft and further strengthening across the centre section and around doorway areas, treated with Osmo resin stain, screwed and joined with joist hangers and 12mm stainless steel bolts, membrane and 13mm OSB on top.

Can easily bear several times the weight of the fully finished and glazed cabin with contents, so will never sag.

The platform stands on concrete blocks (but will stand flat on the ground if you prefer), and is bracketed down with 8mm bolts. Designed to be assembled into 2 half-sections to make leveling easier and then the sections screw and bolt together with substantial cross braces to prevent any flexing. Very heavy.

High quality roofing felt, nice and thick so is far less prone to tearing. Should be able to be cut along seems of the panels and moved in one piece with two people, with the felt still attached (then just overlay a bit more felt over the joins after reassembling and paint around the edges with a bitumen sealant).

The roof panels are sturdy, hardwood, factory made as part of the shed kit. The panels are also fully painted with the Osmo resin before laying the felt.

I've partially completed an inner skeleton out of 2x4s, for the door/window frames and sills to mount on, with the intention being that everything sits on that skeleton and the then shed panels attach to it. This just needs to be finished off after choosing where your windows and doorways will go, and will also serve as the studwork for the wall panels.

All panels are dip treated and came with 10 years guarantee.

I've then fully treated all panels with very expensive Osmo all natural resin woodstain [fir green] which protects and repels moisture better than anything else and will protect for decades. It also looks beautiful on this wood. It's also anti-mircobial and anti-fungal.

The platform is fully painted with this too (and is all on good quality, treated timber anyway).

Timber all came from Leswidden Building Supplies and was great quality overall but I was also very picky in selecting the joists when building it.

The original doors are also here, which are just normal shed doors but would be fine if you're using it as a workshop (my intention was a fully furnished accommodation), and actually it's comfortably warm on the harshest of nights even with no doors or windows on it at all.

Would need very little insulation if any - at the most that cheap foil roll stuff would be more than sufficient.

We've had some seriously heavy downpours, gales etc. and there have been no leaks at all. It's been well-ventilated, but with the doors and window apertures covered enough to not let any water in.

The apex is fairly high at 8ft+, and the whole thing has a cosy but spacious feel to it. Very nice natural green colour on the outside.

Overall cost of the timber used for the floor and platform was around £2200

Modular shed was £ 2750 inc. the better felt

Woodstain was £200

Buyer to dismantle. I can help with some things but have a back injury and hamstring injury so will need two people to take the roof down and move the panels out etc. (I did put the roof up on my own and it wasn't too awkward).
I'm certainly happy to help with labeling and mapping everything as it comes down, but it's pretty self explanatory to put back up.

It doesn't need to be taken all at once, I'd be happy for you to come to do it spread over a couple of weekends or whatever (weekdays/evenings fine too). Panels would fit in a transit (maybe in two-three loads). Some of the timber joists are 10-12ft so you'll need a way of moving those but could be done with a van if they're tied in properly.

The first 6 photos show pretty much the current (un)finished state, others are included to show how it went up.

I've uploaded all the construction photos to OneDrive to give a better idea of how it would come down.
