"Ol' Busker" Fender DG 3. has had issues, but plays well with Quality New Strings fitted in Northampton

This is a Fender DG3 that has had a distorted and split neck. Split has been glued and set and truss adjusted. Still a little distortion, but distortion which favours the playabiity and the action and intonement is now good as any, perhaps somewhat better than others you may buy new.. Bridge Saddle shaved, fret wires cleaned and fingerboard serviced. Any problems with playing have been satisfied and that is why I have put Good Quality New Strings on it, it plays and sounds well. There is a hairline crack to the back of the body, this does not disturb the resonance. This guitar is very layable and integrity of repair has been more tha tested over the last few week as the New Strings have been kept taut and it is played as a "Go-To" guitar for me over that period.
