TheSIR27FDis a seven stringS seriessolid body electric guitar introduced byIbanezin 2013. It was produced in Indonesia as one of the first guitars in the metal-focusedIron Labelline.

The SIR27FD features a sculpted mahogany body bolted to a maple and bubinga Nitro Wizard-7 neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with binding and no inlays. Components include a pair of DiMarzio PAF 7humbucking pickupsand a fixed bridge. For 2014 the Gibraltar Standard 7 bridge was replaced with the Gibraltar Standard II-7.

A great guitar - Ibanez SIR27FD-IPT Iron Pewter is from the Iron Label Series. The Ibanez SIR27FD is a 7 string electric guitar with a 3 piece Maple/Bubinga Nitro Wizard neck which is super slim and ultra playable for a 7 string. The bound Rosewood fingerboard has 24 jumbo frets which makes playing a breeze. The solid Mahogany body is also very slim and features a solid Gibraltar fixed bridge and American made DiMarzio Paf 7 humbuckers. Although designed for metal styles of music, the 5 way switch includes single coil sounds which suits cleaner styles.
