Medium Dog Wanted in Norwich

I'm looking for a companion dog to accompany me on my boat. The dog must be an outdoorsy type of dog that ideally doesnt malt.

Im not too concerened about the breed but i am not keen on staffies. Ideally the dog will be medium sized and a sociable dog as the dog would have many walks along the river banks and will come across people with other dogs.
