The smallest and lightest cart I have is the Conair Travel Smart Mini cart that weighs about a pound. It can hold perhaps 20 lbs. It can tilt over easy, and is not for cobblestone streets!

This Clickart is more like the Samsonite folding cart and others, weighing around 3 lbs. It's plastic, not steel like Samsonite or the Kart a Bag Continental 500 carts. It's sturdy enough, and certainly can hold about 50 lbs. It folds up nicely, and is packable.

All do the job just fine. It's just a question of how compact do you want your cart to fold up, how light do you want it to be,and how much do you want to carry on it. Prices on all of these carts vary widely on amazon and other sites.
