Pact is a registered charity supporting people affected by imprisonment providing practical and emotional support to prisoners' children and families. 'A Way Home' project supports children and families of prisoners to maintain their place and home in the communities of North Wales. Our Court Service provides support to families who have a loved one going through the court process. We operate at numerous Crown and Magistrates Courts throughout North Wales. We are recruiting volunteers to work on Tuesdays in Welshpool Magistrate's Court. Volunteers provide emotional and practical support for families and friends of defendants in the courts.

A minimum commitment of 1 FULL day a week (to be on Tuesdays) for a period of 6 months is required. The day starts 9.30 and finishes approximately 3 pm.

Full training and supervision will be provided. Expenses paid towards travel costs. This role is subject to DBS check and references. Currently, Pact is focusing recruitment for the courts in Caernarvon, Llandudno and Welshpool.
