Job Title:Nursery Practitioner.
Salary:£8.89 - 9.30per hour depending on qualifications and experience.
Location: East Grinstead.
Hours:40 per week.
The Role
The Nursery Practitioner assists in the day to day running of the nursery. Providing a stimulating and varied programme of play and learning opportunities. To always meet the needs of the children ensureing their safety and well being.
Key Duties
Help to creat an inclusive learning environment.
Take part in setting up and cleariing down activities.
Encoruage children in all areas of their development.
Encourage age related play.
Carry out admin as required.
When required, attend meetings.
Ensure high standards of health and safety and hygi8ene are maintained at all times.
Be involved in curriculum planning.
Minimum Qualifications.
* Have completed or be willing to undertake NVQ level 3 or equivalent training.
* Have an enhanced DBS.
* An awareness of a childs's needs.
Desirable Qualifications.
Paediatric first aid.
Health and safety.
Food hygiene.
Safeguarding of children.
Possess knowledge of the development matters in early years foundation stage.
Numerate and literate.
