Early Years Workshop Facilitator - For Lego and Art & Design Workshops in London

£ 30 to £ 40

Want to use your creative skills to inspire young minds?

Building Imagination is a team of passionate individuals that run lunchtime and after-school clubs and holiday workshops which focus on teaching students about design & technology. We use Lego as a teaching tool and introduce other technologies as students progress.

Examples of a few sessions are:
Bridge Building // Wind Powered Machines // Zip Line Challenges & Marble Runs.

Sessions are for Reception & Early Years, KS1 (Age 5-7) & KS2 (Age 8-11)

All teaching materials and lesson plans are provided.
All teachers also get opportunities to design lessons of their own (if they want)
We have a community of teachers to share teaching ideas with.
Everyone that joins the team receives training and support.

No teaching qualification is required and we can apply for a DBS if you don't have one.

Sessions are 1 hour and run on a weekly basis during term time, starting either around 12:30 or 3:30pm

Applicants must be able to commit to teaching at least 1 weekly hour-long session

Sessions happen at the different school's premises across London - We of course never expect someone to travel to a school further than they are happy to.

We are a fun dynamic team and believe in shared knowledge and skills.
We also have paid opportunities for our team members to design and facilitate workshops (4/5 hour workshops on weekends and school holidays) in their fields of interest and hope to give people a platform to inspire and educate students. We are a young company that is rapidly expanding and are looking for people to get involved and bring their passions and skills.
