Education People specialises in the Education Recruitment sector, placing Teachers & Support Staff into schools on a daily, short and long term basis. We have a challenging but rewarding opportunity to work within a nursery class supporting children with challenging behaviour.
You will be required to support a pre school pupil on a one to one and whole class basis and build rapport with other pupils, parents and support staff.
We are looking for an experienced classroom assistant with a proven track record of supporting children with special needs, ideally with learning difficulties and challenging behaviour. Being adaptable, reliable and passionate about working with children is a requirement for this role.
This is a full time role, Monday to Friday 8.30 - 3.30 after Easter till half term supporting a pre school pupil with learning difficulties based within Weston Super Mare.
This role could be extended till July depending on funding.
Having experience of working with nursery pre school aged children and special needs is essential for this role.
