As a Care Club Supervisor you will deliver an engaging daily club programme of activities within a Breakfast and Afterschool Care club setting, monitor and report on the effectiveness of activities, develop strong relationships with schools and parents, as well as leading and motivating a team of Care Club Assistants.

The Care Club Supervisor will be part of a dedicated team of Primary Education tutors and Regional Managers, ensuring a safe and secure environment is provided to children aged 4 - 11 years. Our teams are provided with opportunities for their own career development for a fantastic career path in Childcare.

Please note this is maternity cover for one year, which could lead to moving clubs at the end of this period.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise Care Club Assistants.
Plan and deliver engaging and fun activities at Breakfast (7.45am - 9.00am) and Afterschool Care Clubs (2.30 - 6.00pm).
Provide a safe and secure environment for children at all times.
Manage and maintain club ratios and registers of all children attending SCL's clubs.
Ensure the process of registration of children attending SCL clubs is accurately adhered to.
Obtain regular feedback from children, parents and school staff on progress of SCL clubs.
Complete and record all necessary club admin as required.
Review and assist with the management of the club's programme activities.
Review and maintain sufficient supplies and resources within the school settings at all times.
Analyse and feedback on club numbers, ensuring their sustainability and profitability.
Collate and provide club performance reports to the Regional Managers on a regular basis.

Do you have what we are looking for?

Hold an NVQ Level 3 in Play work/Childcare - if not we will put you on this course!
Have previous experience working in a childcare setting.
Have an understanding of OFSTED requirements.
Be inspirational, bringing fun and creativeness to the team.
Have a fun and energetic nature.
Be reliable and passionate over everything else.
Be able to relate and engage with children aged between 4 - 11 years.
Be a people person with fantastic communication skills.
Have the ability to motivate others to deliver to the highest standard.
Have an enhanced DBS check.
