We are a small family run business with over 40 years' experience of creating beautifully designed hand crafted curtains, blinds and accessories.
This role will suit someone that is looking for variety.
Facilitating the sale of our products and services from our Peterborough based premises you must be able to communicate clearly and effectively and have a friendly, welcoming personality.
You will have relevant experience in a similar business meaning you will have a flair for design. You will listen to our clients requirements and be able to recommend designs and solutions to fit their budget.
Once established you will be expected to occasionally visit clients at their premises to discuss requirements in more detail and accurately measure for subsequent order, delivery and installation. We will provide a company pool vehicle for client site visits so you must hold a clean driving license.
There will also be an administrative aspect to the role and so the successful candidate will be familiar with email applications and microsoft office. Experience in the use of spreadsheets is required and familiarity in the use of Xero accounting software would be preferred.
The role is for 3 days a week - 9am to 5pm - and you will be expected to work at least 2 Saturdays per month.
Unfortunately, public transport does not take you very close to the business location so you will need conisder this and be independent in your own travel arrangments. Free parking is available on site.
