Invercare is a young and ambitious organisation who provides Home Care and Care at Home services within a number or regions in the west of Scotland. Our aim and mission is to promote excellence in the delivery of Social Care and to do that we need the best people to work with us.

We are looking for enthusiastic, committed, motivated and flexible people to join our home care services team. Our services operate 24 hours per day, 7 days per week on a 4 on/4off rota where you will work a mix of early and back shifts. Core business is between 7.00am and 10.00pm.
Duties include assisting service users with all aspects of personal care including help with washing, dressing, toileting, medication, etc; help with preparing breakfast and other meals when necessary and assist service users to maintain and develop their daily living skills and improve independence.
You will be required to undertake all relevant training for the post including attaining a SVQ2 in Social Care. It is preferable that you have experience of working in a care setting and delivering personal care or in an informal/personal capacity; have an awareness of a range of long term conditions and have an understanding of the needs of people who require help from care services; be able to demonstrate within your application form that you are reliable and flexible with the ability to work as part of a team. You will also be required to demonstrate that you can communicate effectively (both verbally and in writing) and this would include monitoring and reporting changes in the identified needs of service users including the handling of sensitive information.
At Invercare we currently have vacancies for sessional, permanent, part time or full time working within the Renfrewshire wide area. You should preferably have 6 months experience within the care sector and preferably hold SVQ 2 and be a driver, but this is not essential as full training will be given. Invercare will also support the right candidate with achieving SVQ 2 /3 in health and social care.
These posts are on a 4 day on 4 days off rota including weekends, evenings and night work.

If short listed for interview you should bring with you 3 forms of Identification, one which should be photographic and evidence of your name and address.
