The Red Lion Country Inn is looking for a forward-thinking, experienced and dedicated assistant Chef to join us, The candidate must be hard working and willing in all aspects of catering and hospitality
The successful candidate will have at least 1 years experience in a similar position and be passionate, hard working and dedicated to developing your skills as a professional chef. You must be creative and have the confidence in your skills along with the ability to thrive in this environment.
A full driving licence is preferable due to the remote location, Salary depending on experience.
Fridays Saturday evenings and Sundays daytime, minimum of 12 hrs a week and work extra hours as the business requires.
Duties will include:
Ensure that the preparation and presentation of the food is of a high standard and compiles with food safety regulations.
Ensure all dishes are prepared using fresh produce, combining contemporary flavours with traditional techniques
To aid the Head Chef in implementing new menus.
To ensure a high standard of cleanliness is maintained in the kitchen operation.
To strive and anticipate customer needs wherever possible and react to these to enhance customer satisfaction.
