This is a full-time position. However, a two-person job share will be considered.
Overview
The Community Administrator is responsible for assisting both the Community Manager and Community House Seller the development of their communities.
The Administrator will assist the Community Manager with regulating and updating the Community Website. In addition, the administrator will Assist the house seller with completing House listings, managing Open House viewings.
Responsibilities
Community Administrator have the following responsibilities and duties:
Moderating the Community Forum to ensure it remains a safe and friendly place for all our members.
Ensuring chosen charities are registered with the Charity Commission.
Attending Charity Fundraiser/Events and sponsored Good Cause events where the Community Manager is not available.
Helping keep the Communities informed about future donations and good cause events, etc. via the forum.
Ensuring payments are made promptly, Charity, Good Cause, Prizes and other community expenses
Standing in for the House Seller when unavailable. This will include initial viewings to take details, Open Houses and providing weekly updates to Seller.
Updating the Website with new House Listing, Local News and Events.
Weekly meetings with the Community Manager and House Seller.
Requirements
Must live within the Borough.
Self-motivated with a strong desire to improve their communities.
Active member of the community.
First class communicator, both spoken and written.
Excellent time manager.
Proactive and creative.
Willing to work during public holidays where required.
Clean driving licence and own transport.
Flexible working hours to meet the needs of the community.
