Description:

Title: Children's Home Deputy Manager
Job Types: Full Time/ Permanent
Salary: 28,000-32,000 (inclusive of sleeps and on calls)
Location: Bury

Required Qualifications: Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People's Workforce or equivalent. Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management or prepared to complete within 18 months of employment. Should you have an equivalent qualification this can be assessed at the Application stage.
Required Experience: At least 3 years' experience of working in an EBD Children's Residential Homes with 1 year senior experience. Previous experience as a Deputy would be preferable.
Other Requirements: Full Driving License, including Business Insurance. Compliance with our Safer Recruitment Policy, including references and a valid Enhanced DBS.

Responsible to the Registered Manager in 1 children's home
Responsible for providing an outstanding quality of care in line with the Children's home Regulations and Quality
Standards
Supporting the manager in motivating and developing the staff team.
Building and maintaining appropriate positive relationships with young people, outside agencies/ professionals and
colleagues.
Managing challenging behaviour and conflict with positive outcomes
Following company policies and procedures
Working on shift and sleeping in
