Are you looking for a new challenge within care? Our North Lanarkshire service in Motherwell and Bellshill is hiring for Relief Community Living Assistants who share our values!

Within North Lanarkshire Capability Scotland has a Community Enabling service (Care at Home), through which we support our customers with day to day tasks and to achieve their outcomes.

As a relief worker, you will have the flexibility to choose when to work and when you do it will be with various customers supporting them to access what they enjoy both in their own homes and in the community.

During your shift you may be asked to support our customers to pursue their individual likes and interests and help them achieve their own goals. You may support our customers to various groups held within the community or to venues where they can get something to eat and meet up with their peers, all the while keeping them safe and cared for.

If you are passionate about assisting others to live full and happy lives, we want to hear from you!

While experience is great, we are really looking for people with the right values. You should have excellent communication skills and be flexible and empathetic. A driver's license and car is essential for the posts in this area, so please confirm, when applying, that you have these.

Our North Lanarkshire Services provides Self Directed Support services to people with complex needs throughout the North Lanarkshire area. We work on assisting people both within their own homes and in the community. In some cases, we work with our people throughout the day, evening, and overnight.

Our person-centred approach allows us to support people to do what they want to do in their lives. We are a flexible service, and customer-led. We love to enable our people to live as independently as they can, and we love assisting them to access their communities. We provide support for them in health and wellbeing such as sensory therapies, housing and managing their residences, and creating independent skills like cooking, paying the bills, and living their lives to the fullest.
