PERSONAL CARE ASSISTANT REQUIRED to support young man (late 20s) with ADD, high functioning ASD, severe dyslexia, OCD, depression, anxiety and difficulty walking long distances due to nerve damage living in Hersham, Surrey.

Support required with correspondence/paperwork, prompting to eat nutritional meals, prompting with personal care tasks such as brushing teeth and support to do meaningful activities in the community such as finding a job.

PA who has experience of working with people with ASD and training in mental health and who is good with paperwork required. Driver with use of car preferred. You should have a good sense of humour and be bubbly, outgoing, mature and observant (for example, so that you can notice if the employer is feeling low or is behaving in ways that may seem unusual such as extreme cleaning).

Rate of pay £10.75 ph. 10 hours per week. Hours will be split across three or four afternoons a week (Mon, Tues, Weds, Thurs) in shifts of between 2.5 and 4 hours. Days and times will be discussed at interview and can be agreed depending on your availability.
