I'm a man with Cerebral Palsy looking for a Personal Assistant available one weekend in four, from 10am Fridays until 10am Mondays, including three sleep-ins. This is on a four week rota.
I'm looking for someone who can assist me with personal care, admin, looking after my house and accompanying me out and about, see full job description below. I'm a member of CAMRA and attend beer festivals, I like travelling, films and art and culture. I would like a PA who is open-minded, outgoing, flexible and is comfortable accompanying me in a variety of social situations. It's important that I get along with my PA on a personal level, a good sense of humour can be a real help on both sides. Job training and qualifications opportunities are presently available.

Applicants should have:
basic cooking skills
their own car
full driving licence
business insurance, as car maybe required for certain journeys during the course of a shift. Mileage is paid at 40p per mile

Also desirable, but not essential:
Current DBS Certificate
NVQ2/3 in Health and Social Care would be desirable, but applicants from other walks of life are also encouraged.
Current First Aid training

Total gross pay £788.31 for weekend shift.
Week Day rate is £9.72 per hour, 8am until 11.30pm. Plus £63.75 sleep in.
Saturday rate is £12.50 per hour, 8am until 11.30pm. Plus £63.75 sleep in.
Sunday rate is £16.30 per hour, 8am until 11.30pm. Plus £63.75 sleep in.
Special rates for bank holidays and Christmas/New year.
Some extra shifts often become available to cover staff holidays etc.
