My name is Fergus and I am an aspiring inventor, the last two years I have spent developing a product and the business concept around it in preparation for launch this summer in a crowdfunding campaign. The product intends to revolutionise personal safety, it is demonstrably superior to everything else that currently exists on the market, and we have surveys that not only prove that the public agree with us, but that there is huge demand for it.
The market in the US alone which we are set to enter is comprised of 62 million users, and with a superior product I have modestly set financial projections at cornering 0.5% of that market in 3 years after the launch, which would value the company at around 18 million (although the vision is to grow far beyond that). The company recently has been valued at £100,000 by numerous enthusiastic investors, and anyone who I end up working with will get a good chunk of that.
I have recently decided that I would prefer to work in a more partnership dynamic with this project since I am undertaking too many roles, and some of them really do not come naturally to me. I need to play to my strengths and find someone who compliments them.
I am looking for someone who is very organised, a confident manager, highly articulate, an autonomous worker, a risk taker, a competent researcher and who is not afraid of paperwork.
Ultimately, I am looking for someone who is naturally entrepreneurial, the catch 22 here being 95% of the time these people are deeply involved in their own projects. So I'm casting the net really wide here along with other efforts I have been making.
