IT Apprenticeship Trainer/Assessor in Witney

To teach and assess any of the following:

Infrastructure Technician Level 3
Network Cable Installer Level 3
Network Engineer Level 4
Information Systems Business Analyst Level 4

Oxford Applied Training is currently seeking high performing Apprentice Assessor/Trainers to support apprentices mostly in the South East. As an Apprentice Assessor/Trainer you will be key to our service delivery and one of the main links to our customers. Your role is very important in supporting and steering learners through to a successful completion of their chosen apprenticeship qualification.
The successful candidates must be prepared to travel around the South East and would report to the Apprenticeship Delivery Manager.

Responsible to: The Apprenticeship Training Manager
Key Responsibilities:
You will be visiting, managing and supporting a caseload of individual learners in the workplace using your experience and training to deliver assessment, learning and guidance to help learners achieve their apprenticeship by their profiled end dates. This will involve:
Contributing to initial learner assessments and records when required
Supporting and motivating learners to meet programme assessment criteria and learning outcomes at organisational venues
Setting "learning benchmarks" and deadlines for candidates on learning programmes
Assessing portfolio based skills evidencing
Conducting learning reviews with learners and their managers on site and writing brief reports recording the content of those meetings.
Supporting learners through the apprenticeship End Point Assessment process
Supporting the Training Manager with compliance with ESFA, Awarding Body and Ofsted requirements and adhering to all OAT policies and procedures
Undertaking all processes, procedures and documentation completion as required to support all audit requirements
Taking part in audit procedures as required
Being responsible, along with all team members, for continual quality assurance and improvement of OAT's training programmes.
Undertaking Safeguarding and Prevent Duty training and ensuring the optimum safety of OAT's learners at all times
Attending conferences, staff meetings, events or training when required
Any other duties deemed appropriate by the Apprenticeship Training Manager
