We are a family run small business operating three miles from Junction 27 M5 Devon .
The job involves driving a wagon and drag throughout the UK delivering machinery , loading , lifting , slinging , sheeting , jacking and skating machines . Training will be provided on a double manned basis until the required level of competency is achieved . This is a full time , permanent position working Monday - Friday with occasional weekend work . Away 2 - 3 nights per week , one driver one lorry policy .

Requirements of the job are :

Clean LGV Class 1 driving licence
Crane ticket
CPC
Knowledge of UK road network
Some mechanical knowledge
Experience with lorry loaders , lifting , slinging , loading and sheeting
Excellent customer service skills
Fork Truck licence ( not essential )

Pay dependent on experience and ability but starting at £11 per hour first 40 hours then time and a half . Nights out paid at £27.50 per night . Transport possibly provided dependent on wages paid .
