Hi This is John, Friendly mature Hotel night Porter/Manager/Allrounder looking for a Live-in position. I have over 30 years experience in the industry, spread over Hotels/guesthouses and Pubs. I would describe myself as reliable, committed, good sense of humour, calm under pressure, good awareness of security and handling difficult situations ( ex Army ) with lots of Stag & hen group experience. I hold a current food hygiene certificate, and am kitchen trained ( worked as a chef in the past ) also Beer dispense and cellar management trained, and also C.O.S.H.H. and H.A.C.C.P. certified. Computer literate with online bookings systems and PMS channel management sites, such as Eviivo & little hotelier extranet, Opera & Hotel Perfect. Due diligence awareness, and fully co-operate with both Internal and E.H.O Audits, and happy to work to branded company specs. I have a positive work ethic, and a Will Do attitude, and can hit the ground running. I can live - in with no encumbrances or Bad Habits, and happy to relocate anywhere. Would also be available for part time weekend work, Fri/Sat/Sun nights, if a small room was available for down time on shift days. Please email for a brief CV.
