Mindfulness Step by Step 8 week practice establishment programme in Poole

A safe and effective approach to developing your own personal mindfulness practice through this 8 week, step by step, programme
This 8 week programme commences Wednesday 12th January at 7pm - 8pm and will be held every Wednesday at 7pm until Wednesday 2nd March.

It is well suited to beginners and also for those who have explored mindfulness and meditation personally but are looking for a more formal structure to support their further development.

This programme is built on the scientifically established, safe and effective approaches to developing a personal mindfulness practice outlined in Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction and Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy programmes.

Each week will introduce new mindfulness techniques and practices to incorporate smoothly into your day to day life. Recordings of meditations will be available via YouTube to support home practice between sessions.

The course outline is as follows:

Session 1, 12th January - Waking up from automatic pilot

Session 2, 19th January - Another way of being, keeping the body in mind

Session 3, 26th January - Gathering the scattered mind

Session 4, 2nd February - Recognising Reactivity

Session 5, 9th February - Allowing and letting be

Session 6, 16th February - Responding Skilfully

Session 7, 23th February - How can I best take care of myself?

Session 8, 2nd March - Mindfulness beyond 8 weeks

This course is an in person event held at Club Hub Poole however if local restrictions prevent face to face meeting then this course will be held online via Zoom instead.
