2nd Language Acquisition Coach in Cricklewood

Are you learning a second language?
Do the phrases below sound familiar?

-I've been studying a foreign language for years, but I feel I've reached a point where I'm just not progressing.
- I'm still making the same old mistakes after years of learning!
-I find it difficult, if not impossible, to find time to study between classes.
-I lack motivation to study and I find myself procrastinating.
-I've tried methodologies X,Y and Z that promise you'll be fluent in 3 months, and they don't work!
-I'm embarrassed to speak in-front of the other in my class.
-I find it difficult to remember new vocabulary

I have been working in the field of Language Learning for 20 years, and the majority of the learners I work with are plagued by at least one of the things above at some point in their lives.

As a Language Acquisition Coach, I will work with you to make that list a thing of the past and to move your language learning up to the next level!

FAQ
Q If I hire you as a coach, does that mean that you will be my teacher?
A No, the learners I work with already have good teachers who know how to deliver an effective language class. However, the learner needs specialised help in tackling one of the areas above, which is often outside of the remit of the teacher.

Q What is the difference then between my teacher and a coach?
A A teacher teaches, which means that they typically pass their knowledge onto the learner. A Coach, however, believes that everyone is creative and capable of finding the answers for themselves, and we will work with you to help you set clear and achievable goals and to design effective action steps that will move you forward.

Q How long should the coaching partnership last?
A The main objective of the coaching partnership is for the coachee to become autonomous in the shortest period of time possible, in that they will be better prepared to resolve similar problems for themselves in the future. However, a coach will often recommend that you work with them for a set period of time (3 months for example) and to have regular coaching sessions during this period to check progress.
