I can inspect from above the chimney pots down to the water meter in the pavement and tell you the real reason why you're seeing damp or mould.
I'll use a thermal camera, extractor fan speed test kit, non destructive moisture meters that are calibrated for most building materials, (not just wood) a borescope camera to get into those hard to see places and a hygrometer to tell you relative humidity and actual moisture in the air. I can do salt analysis on walls to tell you if you have rising damp.
