The Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals is a registered charity whose mission statement is to “by all lawful means, prevent cruelty, promote kindness to and alleviate suffering of animals.” The RSPCA works with local and national law enforcement to put an end to the abuse of animals both through prevention via education, and through legal means.
