(Deposit taken - Awaiting collection) Lovely looking 11 years 15hh Irish cob mare has been used previously as an happy hack.
She has Never put a foot wrong hacking and is happy with heavy traffic. However low milage and green schooling which she can be nappy with, but the lady l had her from whom had had for three years, had her as a confidence giver and as now
told me if she felt unsure in the manage
she would drop her reins and let her take her to the gate. I am a mature rider and she put a buck in on me when l challenged her on this and it has put the wind up me. However a very experienced younger friend and a local instructor have rode her with no problems.
I paid alot more money for her than l am adverting her for, but want her to go to a positive rider whom will re school her, hence a project.
I have not had her too long and have since found out she had not been in work, over the winter months and had only just come back into work to be sold, as the previous owners had brought thier daughter a bigger horse.
She is a very sweet natured mare whom is good to box, catch, farrier and with the dentist, whom she has just had a visit from.
I have myself have lost a lot of confidence with getting older and know she will never be right for me, hence selling from the field. She needs boundaries setting by a firm but fair rider when schooling and taking back to the basics, but hacking out she has been a gem.
