Description:

Thor is a head turning dark bay traditional cob with 3 white socks, blaze and amazing glacial blue eyes. Currently standing at 13.2hh to easily make 14hh, he is a nice weight carrier with good bone and feather. Extremely placid and sensible he is true to type in all ways, on the ground and in the saddle.

Lovely walk trot and canter, great to hack alone and in company on and off road, in front, upside or behind. Walks through rivers happily, Good in traffic and with other animals. Pops small jumps with ease and has been used on the lead rein quite happily also leads from another horse well. Can be left for ling spells off without it affecting his character and riding. Not a total plod and moves off the leg nicely. He has done his basic schooling, leg yields and carries himself nicely, lovely brakes (always snaffle mouthed) he would also do well in the show ring with masses of mane, feather and good conformation. Also rides bitless responsively. He will be an excellent riding/pony club horse. Never, bucked, bolted, reared, kicked or bitten, cannot fault him. Thor is as uncomplicated and unflappable as they come, an old head on young shoulders that hasn't been rushed in his education.

Good ground manners, good with children, excellent to catch, tie, groom,bath, clip, load, travel, stable and trim ( he has always been barefoot with excellent strong feet) Not a bolshy cob in the slightest, great to tack up and stands to be mounted from the ground or block. Good to load and travel. He really loves people and is a pleasure to spend time with.

Stables very well with no vices, also happy to be out 24/7 all year round, turns out well with other horses and respects fencing. He is in great shape and in regular work, has clean legs, no lumps or bumps or health conditions, never been lame sick or sorry.Fully up to date with his feet, teeth and worming, never needed the physio.

An ideal family horse suitable for an adult, child or teenager, mother/daughter share. A genuine sweet boy so hard to come by that ticks all the boxes. Thor is really going to make a lucky someone very happy.
