Tommy is a handsome full up 14.2hh, traditional type, purebred 4 year old Connemara with good breeding and N/N for HWSD.
He stands patiently at the mounting block and has 3 established gaits. He has jumped up to 90cm in the school and is brave and confident in his approach with scope to go higher.
Tommy excels in the outside environment with the potential to become a superb XC or hunting prospect. He has been out hunting, (the second time out with a 12 year old rider) taking to it like a duck to water. He stands patiently when he should, snaffle mouthed and is very happy to go on point. A real future hunting star. He has proved himself a real leg in each corner type and a real gentleman.
He has hacked alone and in company and is not fazed by traffic including farm machines, dogs and motor bikes. We have taken him showing for the experience and he travels well.
Tommy is super easy to catch and handle and is good with the farrier. He will stand all day to be groomed and pampered. He is up to date with teeth, worming and vaccinations.
Tommy is looking for a new home where he can fulfil his potential and be taken to the next level. Purely given his age (not temperament) no novices or nervous riders.
He can be viewed in South Nottinghamshire and is open to any vet.
