Description:

I was sold this pony as a first pony suitable for a novice. He definitely is not. And now unfortunately I have lost my confidence when it comes to dealing with him. He needs a strong experienced home and I unfortunately cant give him that.
The facts:
He was vetted 3 week ago when I got him and he past with flying colours the paperwork is still at the vets but I can get it if you would like. or Im open to any vetting. I know he is fine but totally understand wanting it done as I did myself.

He is stunning Have to see him to really appreciate how good looking he is as pictures don't do him justice
he is a unregistered fell pony
He is 14hh
He is black with two white back feet.
He is 9 year old.
He lives out 24/7
He is barefoot
Diet is grass and hay
he will come with his tack that I bought separately off the seller as I will no longer need it.

I sold this pony over 3 years ago to a wonderful home. Sadly their circumstances have changed and he has returned to me to find a new owner.
Firstly, a fantastic home is the priority here, I have received a Christmas card from Paul each year he has gone away - I cannot stress how difficult this is for his owners - any new owner I really hope will keep them updated on him.
Paul is a lovely quiet pony. He has been handled daily by relative novices, and is quiet to do in all ways. Paul has been taught to haul wood and his made to measure harness is available by separate negotiation. I have footage of him at work and in training (including towing an empty builders bag!). Paul is vaccinated, wormed, has just had his teeth done and has lovely sturdy feet. He is not shod. He is great to catch (comes to call) load and travel.
This pony is not a total switched off plod, at times he can get a little anxious and needs reassurance from his rider. He does not behave dangerously just seeks encouragement
with me :
I had been a few times to see him before buying him he was a quiet lovely ride. He Didnt put a foot wrong. I seen what she meant by encouragement as he was unsure of a dog barking at him all he did was stop and look. And I asked him to walk on while taking to him and he did perfectly.
But since he arrived here I have not been able to ride him. as he will not let me mount him he will not stand anywhere near a mountain block. And when I did manage to mount him from the ground he unfortunately bucked me off. A friend has manage to ride him a couple of times but he has also bucked her off so I have since had a back specialist out to check his back as I was worried he was in pain. he said he was in perfect health. One hand it was good news but also bad as Im not experienced in this kid of thing and Im on my own most of the time so its not safe for me to ride him. I was told he was good with traffic and when I road him at the sellers 2 cars past and he wasnt bothered in the slightest. But he is really jumpy here when cars make noise as the pass the field. But where I got him from was quit remote and now he is living in a Feild on the a68 so it could just be the high volume of passing traffic this might be the reason he hasnt settled but unfortunately can do anything about that
Im devastated as I bought him as a forever pony so please no time wasters as its upsetting enough as it is.
any question I will try my very best to answer if I do not know the answer I will simply tell you I dont know. Im very honest sometimes I get told too honest but I never want anyone to end up in the situation Im in now as its unfair on me and him. Viewing are very welcome I would like to stress this is NOT a childrens pony and I will not sell him to anyone that is planning on buying him for that as I find him unpredictable he is not malicious but big and clumsy Sorry if you feel the advert goes on a bit but I only want people to come and see him that know the situation. As his happiness and safety of everyone involved is priority to me
