15.1hh 11 year old (2010) TB X Cob Chestnut Mare
Owned since a foal on her mum. Lightly backed as a 4 year old then turned away. Came back into work as a 5 year old and got to the point of walking and little trot around the school on her own. Has been occasionally lunged on and off over the years and never forgets anything.
She lunges and long reins well. Responsive and willing. She does have a sensitive mouth and needs someone quiet.
She would love some one to one attention and someone who has the time to build up a trusting relationship with her. Needs an experienced and confident person who can offer reassurance and patience. With routine and handling I don't think it will take much to get her riding again. She was very easy to back. She's not a big flashy mare but would suit someone that just wants to have abit of fun or plod about.
She hates the vet purely down to a bad experience but will be discussed with anyone interested.
Only for sale due to personal circumstances and don't have the time to put into her that she deserves, she would love a job to do.
