Nelly is a 6 year old mare looking for a new home through no fault of her own. Nelly came to me to be part of my Shetland herd however sadly a busy heard life is not for her.
Nelly will not go to just anyone. She will not be discounted and we will be picky with her forever home, as we are being responsible. Sadly if that fails to suit some people then we understand.
Nelly would make a great companion to one other horse, but herd life is too busy for her and she becomes very unsettled. Our Shetlands live as a natural herd and we have decided to rehome Nelly, as we are currently having to split the herd.
Nelly will only be rehomed to a forever home. She can be difficult to catch and has never been around small children. She can be food aggressive with other horses, but this is more noise and less action. She has never shown any aggression to a human.
Nelly is passported and chipped with the IMHS, not the Shetland Society although she is a full Shetland.
We will retain Nelly until the right home is found as she is our priority. Please only contact us if you are genuine as we have spoken to so many time wasters. We are looking for a genuine home.
Find with the farrier, worming. No lami. Walks well on the head collar.
