Not-for-Profit. 11hh Dream Pony, Easy to tack up but Unbacked, Cheap, Welsh A Gelding 5 for Children's Lead Rein Project, Special Needs Pet or Kids' P in Newton Le Willows

£1,200

Despite his name - DANGER MOUSE - This must be the closest you will get to a CHEAP-as-they-COME, DREAM KIDS' LEAD REIN PROJECT, SPECIAL NEEDS PET &/or COMPANION.
Approx. 5 years old & around 11hh handsome Welsh A gelding.
Seems healthy & content.
Not seen signs of lumps or bumps, vice, sickness, sweet itch, asthma or laminitis.
Not been spoiled nor given treats.
Not bit or kicked any one nor been been mean, strong or pushy.
Microchipped & Passported.
GELDED.
FULLY VACCINATED/UP-to-DATE with 1st, 2nd & 3rd FLUE & TETANUS.
WORMED
FEET TRIMMED every six weeks.
GOOD for FARRIER.
VETS' FAVOURITE - Just stood there to be shaved, checked over, injected, gelded etc.
Was never coltish & been peaceful & kind with young colts, yearlings, mares & geldings.
ORIGINALLY from SHOW BREEDERS who BRED for GOOD NATURE - being near 90 they just wasn't managing to do even basics so they came here so we could help them.
They were all lovely natured & were soon tamed - no sign of abuse or treat giving.
Danger Mouse has been kind & caring towards people & other ponies.
Has peacefully shared barn/paddock with young colts, yearlings, geldings, mares & old ponies..
Been lovely to work with.
Easy to tack up and has had weights on and small child has sat on him but we have no small jockey.
Fairly novice family could likely back him for a lead rein themselves - if kind, committed & willing to learn..
Not seen as much as some but he is a quick learner. He might be surprised the first time but next time he is usually chilled about it and usually keen to go out for walks or trips out.
Used to & not been bothered about metal barn doors slamming loudly in the wind, alarms going off, roof rattling in the storm, kids all around him, etc.
Has been checked over by vets including senior vet.
Seem fit & healthy but developed some stifle lock (reflected in the fee).
As predicted by vet it is fast improving/hopefully disappearing with training & general exercise.
Vets said it should go completely.
If some one could get him up some hills or finish backing him & get him out riding that would be good.
Vets said they thought he would make a fantastic kids pony as so good natured, well handled & easy. .
Loves kids & autistic youths fussing over him..
Easy to catch - comes right up.
Follows or is often lead by loose rope around neck, to & from paddock as so good.
Easy to tie up, pick all four feet, brush, wash, rug up, worm & for vet to jab.
Been a saint to tack up, have weight and kid sit on.
Been fine to dress up.
Been good to load & travel.
Kids like pleating his long mane & tail.
Re-homing fee £1,200 as seen, not for profit.
Maybe suitable for kind home/family, the RDA & a small ;unicorn' party/therapy/business or petting zoo.
Novice family welcome if willing to learn and they have some one on the yard who will help them get started, as so easy.

He is open to viewing here or at your place, but re-homing fee is fixed - as already so cheap.
No obligation to re-home but transport would have to be paid up front & would be non-refundable.
Will deliver cost price to anywhere in the UK - if home is right..
Can give a transport quote if we have the postcode - no charge for our time just fuel, tolls & ferries. Happy to stay in touch if person wants.
If interested in a viewing or possibly re-homing this lovely dream pony, please, do get in touch,.
