Top quality Elixir lights used in this set up, but you may prefer heavier gauge for your particular style of playing. Anyway, New Quality strings used in setting up and it feels and plays well. Plenty of range, nice ring and sustain. Im not a good enough player to reach its full potential, but I can tell with confidence that it loved to be played and hammered on. This is the EJ200 DeLuxe in black, shiny unmarked and No Dints. Just the normal use light marks, It has been played. I may add a p/up system to it, as this is the Acoustic cut-away model. But if I were to introduce an on-board p/up , it may not be suitable to every one and the price would of course be adjusted. I think a good soundhole "un-fixed" pick up would suit....its an option. But it has plenty of resound, its the players choice. So for now it remains an Acoustic.....
