Probably one of the rarest basses you'll ever find - a Stratocaster-type bass!!!!
I'd never ever seen a Stat-type bass produced anywhere and this bass really caught my eye at the time but I've got five basses and one pair of hands so one or two must now go.

I wish I could tell you something about it but I got it as an inherited bass so I don't know any history. From what I can tell this is a one-off custom rebuild. Superbly finished in a butterscotch colour it looks the real deal. Paintwork is immaculate and body has really attractive pearloid scratchplate. All the Strat features - three "rails" type pickups, Strat-type three way selector switch, plus 2 volume and 1 tone control. Bridge consists of 4 individual saddles. Short scale 22 fret neck with rosewood fret board. Plays beautifully and the scale makes it easy to hold and balance. Huge range of tones.
First to try it will buy it. None of your friends will have anything like it - it's so individual and unusual. As I've said, I know nothing of its history so no point asking me - but I could not find any manufacturer who makes a Strat type bass..
