Description:

Red sparkle top, back and sides. Made in the Samick/SPG factory in Korea in 2003. I believe it is a G1619 (G2619 being designated to the Electromatic model - but essentially the same guitar). Bought new in 2006 and has had minimal home use only. Apart from that it has either been either hanging in my music room or living in a gig bag. There are no marks, dings or scratches anywhere and apart from the buyer giving the fretboard a minor clean up when changing the strings it looks unused.

Information on these guitars is patchy and hard to come by but the following is what I have been able to ascertain from the internet (but don't keep me to it):


The body is semi hollow - laminated - chambered - American-Basswood, for lightness & vintage tone.

The maple neck is capped with a rosewood fingerboard - dot inlays.

Dual Gretsch Humbuckers for killer sonic palette.

An adjustable wraparound bridge and sealed tuners keep it rock solid.

The body-top features Gretsch authentic 1950's drum-kit skin - which complements the chrome hardware quite nicely.
