Description:

Reluctant sale of my very rare 1974 Lister salamander 2 berth caravan with mollycroft roof .
Sensible offers considered. Or possible swap for automatic van/camper/ambulance.

Lister caravan company, aka mereside coachworks only operated from 1972/3 to 1976 so these caravans are extremely rare, I have not seen another one of these anywhere.
Perfect for taking to classic caravan shows, guaranteed to create a lot of interest.

Chassis is solid and wheels are very good as she was dry stored with wheels removed for the last 10 years.
She has been in use since spring.
She is towable and can be used as she is, but a few things need doing to preserve her long term.
I have spent time assessing her and started to do this, but sadly my situation has changed and so now looking to find a new owner.
Please contact me for the 'to do' list. Lots more photos available.

She belonged to a gentleman who clearly cherished her and she comes with all the original purchase paperwork, the whole history of receipts and diagrams for everything in her.
She tows very well, as the wheels were taken off and stored every winter, they are in great condition, and the tyres are good. The towing lights work, she has been towed recently.
Included is a tow hitch lock, and other accessories.
Keys included, all locks up well.

She has 12V and 240V. A 12v water pump is installed under the sink.
The end kitchen has a 2 ring hob, an oven, sink.
There is a 12v/240v/gas fridge, and a gas fire.
A 12 v battery cupboard is by the door, (no battery) complete with diagram!
240 v mains electric boxes in the wardrobe all look perfect.
There are leads and lots of accessories and extras, spare pumps, bulbs, pipes, water butts, mains hook up lead, and lots of bits and bobs all neatly labelled and boxed.
The original awning is included, this looks to be in great condition.
Gas appliances are working. Everything is original, and in very good condition.
The caravan is all clean and tidy with everything neatly in its place.
A toilet room houses a cute bucket Loo, and has a drop down sink unit.
All the units are wooden, and show excellent craftsmanship, all in very good condition, with a pretty formica surface throughout in a pale green retro pattern.
There are two chests of drawers, one with a lift up section with mirror, and a wardrobe with long mirror, a lovely glass fronted drinks cabinet, and details such as racks inside cupboards and clips to hold accessories, the original loo holder and towel rails all intact, even a carpet sweeper...
The windows work well, all are metal framed, and the top sections have cute metal beaded latches. In the roof are 4 molycroft windows, they all close and open fine.
Skylight works.
The curtains are in fairly good condition, just slight damage to one or two small areas.
The cushion covers are a dark green velvet, with only slight damage on the reverse lining, and slight sun damage to edges of side cushions.
Under the brown carpet is a wacky purple swirl carpet :)

She has been very well cared for and I think this would be quite a simple project to make her perfect again.
I am looking for a buyer who can decide if they are keen from info and photos, then view to buy and tow away on the same visit.
She is not stored where i live, so I cannot arrange lots of viewings.
I have more photos and a to do list, so if you are interested please contact me for detailed info and photos, im happy to answer any questions.
Thanks for reading this far ! :)
