2008 (08) Ford Transit (140 / T350EF) Campervan

2402cc manual turbo diesel engine, (TDCi), which has covered approximately 174,200 miles. Mechanically, the engine and gearbox are faultless. Recent mechanical work carried out includes; all round brake discs & pads and N/S/F wheel bearing, with invoice to prove, at a cost of £545.54. Our mechanic has also replaced the N/S/F drop link, O/S/F wishbone, clutch cylinder and rear axle hub seals, which totaled £290.00. We are not aware of any other mechanical issues and have traveled frequently during the spring, summer & autumn without any problems. There is a documented part service history file available for previous repairs & services, which will be passed on to the new owner. The last major service on the engine was carried out on 04/07/19, which included; oil & oil filters, fuel filter, air filter, pollen filter, coolant change and power steering fluid renewal, which has been documented in the service history file.

The general condition of the bodywork is very good / exceptional. There are no rust patches on either the sills or the wheel arches and the paintwork is bright. The only negative point to mention is that the windscreen is chipped, however none of the chips are located within "zone A" and thus this does not affect the MOT. The current MOT is due to expire on 03/10/19, but I am currently arranging a test so that it can be sold with a new certificate.

Since owning this campervan we have had the electrical and battery system safety tested by a local caravan & motorhome service & repair specialist, who was able to rectify a fault concerning the battery wiring. There are currently three leisure batteries on board, which have been tested and rewired in parallel so that they drain equally. A damp test was also carried out at the same time which returned a negative result.

The campervan features a 4ft fixed small double bed, made up of two single memory foam mattresses. There is ample under bed storage for all of your camping accessories, some of which are included in this sale. At the rear of the van are two cushioned bench seats, with storage, which can be transformed into another small 4ft double bed when not in use. There is also a built in wardrobe, complete with hanging rail and shelf above.

A wind-out Fiamma awning is attached to the outside of the camper, along with a Ring rear view parking camera and internal viewing screen for driver convenience. The previous owner has also fitted a computer tablet beneath the passenger side sun visor, which we believe has been loaded with satellite navigation.
