The caravan is sited on Willow Tree Caravan Park which is a small family run park near Flookburgh on the edge of the Lake District. There are only 74 caravans and it's an owners-only park with no rentals or subletting, which means you'll always meet familiar faces when you visit. The park is pet friendly and is open from March - January (11 months). Just 10 minutes walk from the park is a garden centre with a cafe, and Grange-over-Sands and Cartmel are only 5 minutes drive away with a choice of pubs, restaurants and shops. Further afield, you have all the attractions of the Lake District within easy reach, including Cartmel Racecourse, Windermere, Ambleside and Scafell Pike. It's an ideal location for nature lovers with plenty of walking and cycling routes to explore.

The caravan has an open-plan layout with a large lounge & kitchen/dining area. The lounge has two large sofas (one with a pull-out sofa-bed), a feature-electric fireplace, a large TV shelf with storage cupboards, French doors, and a coffee table with 2 stowaway stools. There are built-in ceiling speakers which allow you to play music via your phone. The kitchen is a very good size and comes with a full-size integrated fridge-freezer, a built-in microwave, a gas cooker & hob (with extractor), and a free-standing table with 4 chairs. There are lots of storage cupboards and plenty of work-space. Being open-plan means you aren't away from the family if you're preparing a meal.

The caravan has two bedrooms, one of which is a large double bedroom, and the other with two single beds. The master bedroom is the full width of the caravan and has lots of floor-space and storage, and comes with an en-suite toilet, an Ottoman-style storage bed, a large double-wardrobe with drawers, a large dressing table, bedside cabinets, and overhead lockers. The twin room comes with 2 single beds, its own wardrobe and overhead storage lockers. Finally, there's a family wash-room with a double-shower, toilet and sink.

This caravan would make a very comfortable getaway for anyone that loves the Lake District, and wants a second-home in this beautiful part of the world. It's on a well run site with friendly staff, and the site fees are very reasonable.
