The time has finally come to sell our beloved family CRV. The only reason we're selling is due to buying the exact same car but in diesel instead, seeing as we loved this one so much. So far it has done 146,615 Miles and I reckon it could easily do another 100K (anyone who knows about Honda engines will know how bulletproof they are).

We've had the car for many years and it's never failed us with the engine starting up every time. It drives well and performs in all weather conditions (we were one of the few neighbours who could actually get out when we had all the snow a few months back!)

It's MOT'd until Oct and on the last MOT it only failed on a few minor wear and tear things (bulbs, brake pads, rubber gaiter, wiper blades) but everything major mechanically was solid, so it should hopefully go through again with no real issues.

As with any car this age there are a few minor points, nothing major, but I'm just trying to be honest as possible.

The clutch pedal has a small squeak (some WD-40 would probably stop this)

At the moment the central locking on the boot door doesn't work (rest of the car doors locks fine), haven't had time look into this, maybe a very simple quick fix.

The passenger side window is controlled fine when sitting in the back seat, but a few weeks ago the driver's master window control stopped working just for this 1 rear window. All other windows can be controlled fine from the driver's seat, but it just won't work for this rear window.

The spare wheel alloy has a chip in it, it still fine to drive on with no problems and seeing as it's only a spare I never got it replaced.

Usual age related marks /scuffs/ scratches around the car (please see photos)



Within the last 12months the car has had a new battery, auxiliary belt & front brake pads.

The CRV's are excellent cars and I'm sure whoever buys the car will not by disappointed and will certainly be getting a bargain that will last them for many years. Viewing is more than welcome and if you have any questions please let me know.


One last point I should mention is we have a very large fluffy dog, so just to point out there will be some dog hairs in the car (don't worry we'll throw these in for free!)
