Private sale - owned from new in May 2008. An excellent alternative to usual rear passenger travel, this adaptation by Sirus enables the passenger in the wheelchair to travel alongside the driver. An electronically lowered ramp provides smooth access and the remodelled chassis allows the passenger to travel side-by-side and at the same height. Wheelchair-securing fastenings are quick and easy to manage. As shown in the photographs, the car comes with a spare standard front passenger seat which can quite easily be removed and re-fitted.
The car is in very good condition, has low mileage (just over 50,000) and has been regularly serviced, most recently in January. It comes with MOT until February 2019, two new front tyres and and a new front shock absorber. It is the top spec automatic Kangoo 1.6 petrol engine Expression with CD/radio and locker storage. It has factory-fitted roof bars and roof brackets and large topbox can be included. All manuals are available.
This is a great car for its age and has served us really well. If you're looking for wheelchair transport and an alternative to Motability without breaking the bank, I don't think at this price you'll find better out there.
