Honda CB250K4 1973 Genuine UK bike V5 present, for restoration, showing just 15000 miles on the clock
I bought the bike to get it back on the road as an oily rag restoration,but it needs more work than i anticipated and other projects have taken priority.
One for the Honda twin enthusiast, Complete UK reg bike, registered August 1973, 7 former keepers.
This Honda CB250 K4 twin needs full a full refurb. It turns over on the kickstart, has good compression, , the bike runs . .But the carbs need major overhaul to get it running properly.. The wheels and chain are free and it rolls fine. Some of the electrics work too, the headlight and clock lights work ..All original apart from the Dunstall style silencers, The seat base is rotten and the front rim has rusted through.
A weekend of tinkering wont get it back on the road, it needs going through completely, I would recommend a full strip down inspection and refurb, as it looks to have been stood a long time.
Tax and MOT exempt of course.

It doesnt look like the pubs will open anytime soon so you might as well be in the garage tinkering?
