STILL FOR SALE We are looking for a new home for our female Black Headed Caique, Pickle.
Pickle cannot talk, but knows her name and sings it as a greeting and when saying goodnight/goodbye.
She has a number of sounds/clicks she uses in various situations to communicate.
She loves music (Pirate Sea Shanties, Italian Pop Music and Counting Crows) and sometimes will dance and sing along.
Pickle has been hand reared and is comfortable and happy around adults and children and is not bothered by dogs (though should be kept separate from them).
Pickle is healthy and has had regular vet-checks.
Pickle has been fed exclusively on a pellet,vegetable and fruit diet, seeds and nuts for treats and training only.
Pickle is not clipped and flies regularly around the house.
We have started harness training but this has not been completed.
Pickle loves car journeys and gets excited to travel, she loves being in her travel-cage with us on weekends away/picnics.
Pickle is friendly, sleeps immediately at night when covered and has not been difficult to keep.
Due to changes with our work we are finding it increasingly difficult to devote the time to Pickle that she deserves.
We would like to find her a home with somebody who has the time to give her the out-of-cage, hands on time that she loves each day.
We have a Liberta cage (If required) in addition to a travel cage and her toy box, flight harness and any remaining pelleted food. (£100 for two cages, toys, harness, food etc)
It is very important to us that Pickle finds a suitable home, giving her up is not an easy decision and we want to find her the best possible home.
